WTF - Advani - Jinna

Fellow hindus i bow to your balllessness. I seriously do. After surfing thru indian bloggers a large percentage seem to have the attitude "What does it matter if Jinna was secular or not?" as regards to the Advani comment incident. WTF ! Some have even quoted Jinna's speeches that Advani used to make his point.
Lets start with the premise that Jinna was indeed secular. I think if that is the case then we indians weren't secular because in India till the start of the whole Hindu movement the majority use to bend over backwards for the minority. How else do you explain different set of rules for muslim, Article 370 etc. ? Classic congress mentality was " oh we are secular, f**k the Hindu's because they don't have a unified vote bank, focus on the minority. "
Crossing back over the border, pakistani government attitude towards Hindu's over the years is best seen here. Ignoring this i have met people who migrated from Pakistan to Indore in 1990 and heard the most horrific treatment of Hindus by cops / beurocrats with muted acceptance by the majority and media. If a hindu axes a muslim in Bhopal it causes a communal riot. If a muslim kills a hindu, it's just petty crime. WTF !!
Now going back to why it matters. It matters to all the Sindhis and Punjabis who migrated across the border because of the formation of the MUSLIM state Pakistan. It matters because lives have been reshaped forever, the atrocities that the minorities have suffered in Pakistan over the years now have lost their significence. Advani has committed a gross crime to all the hindus in Pakistan by providing a blanket acceptance to Jinna, the founding father of Pakistan and in doing so to Pakistan state for it's treatement of hindu and other minorities.

The thing to think about is - if the creators of Pakistan were secular, what was the need of Pakistan. The words "Pakistan" and "secular" can not be used in the same room. Then Pakistan's raison d'etre is lost. Advani has really put his foot in his mouth by praising Jinnah as a secular. He may have been secular in his writings and his speeches, but his actions belied all that. Another "secularist" Iqbal, who wrote "सारे जहाँ से अच्छा हिन्दोस्ताँ हमारा.." and "मज़हब नहीं सिखाता आपस में बैर रखना" later laid the foundation stone for formation of Pakistan. Those who have doubts should read this:
