Junoon

Junoon hands down beats any other band from the Desi region (believe me i have covered the spectrum for a long time). Visit Pakistani Music for their most complete collections online. A few of my favorites from them are: Ghoom, Sapne, Saeein, Yaar Bina, Pyaar Bina, Neend Aati nahi. I saw them up close in a concert last year and that's when i got really interested in them. The quality of music is at par with the best in the world.

If you get a chance check out 127 from Iran. Very interesting sound + voice of the youth of Iran.
